Texas A&M lands commit from elite 2017 QB prospect Tate Martell

Another year another top quarterback prospect commits to the Texas A&M Aggies.
This time the commitment comes from Nevada prospect Tate Martell. Martell is currently rated as a 2017 five-star prospect according to 247Sports Composite ratings and holds offers from USC, Michigan, Arizona State and Washington among others.

Martell has already been selected as a participant in the 2017 U.S. Army All-American game. Martell has been compared to former Aggie star Johnny Manziel, however he is attempting to shy away from such comparisons.
If Martell does indeed follow through with his commitment, he has already backed out of a commitment to play for Washington, he will be the third five-star quarterback prospect to enroll in College Station following Kyle Allen in 2014 and Kyler Murray in 2015.
