Texas A&M AD 're-evaluating' annual neutral site game with Arkansas

Texas A&M and Arkansas both bring in over $3 million with their annual meeting in Arlington, TX, and yet the Aggies athletic director Eric Hyman may be considering an end to the game's neutral site location when the current agreement comes to an end in 2024.

While speaking to the Dallas Morning News, Hyman appears to be bracing fans of the eventual end of games at AT&T Stadium:

"I'm constantly re-evaluating," Hyman said. "Circumstances may change two, three, four, five years from now."

"A&M's circumstances have 'changed dramatically,' Hyman said. 'Paramount for me is doing what's right for our supporters.'"

On the other hand, Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long seems very happy with the current agreement:

"We have 10 more games in the series, including this year," Long told the paper. "We have a contract through 2024. We are excited about it, and we expect it to continue."

Each school could potentially make more money with home games, but they would only come every other year for each school. Would turning down the annual payday really benefit both schools? Both schools have several years to iron out any details that may be holding up the next agreement, thankfully they have plenty of time to figure it out.
