Tennessee lands four-star speed RB Carlin Fils-Aime

The Tennessee Volunteers will be heading into the 2015 season short on running backs, making the position a key area of need in recruiting in their upcoming class. Well Vol Nation can rest easy knowing their team has at least one premier back committed, as Carlin Fils-Aime pledged to the Vols Thursday.
A native of Naples, FL., Fils-Aime is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports Composite ratings and chose Tennessee over Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Miami and many others.
Fils-Aime spoke to 247Sports following his commitment and the speedy running back discussed why he picked Tennessee.
“I mean, everything was great (at Tennessee),” he said. “The facilities were great. But that wasn’t really what drew me to the school. I guess it was just the coaches, the bond that we had.”
The talented running back had a desire to get the decision out of the way before beginning his senior season of football, and after talking it over with his coach and family, he knew Tennessee was the right choice.
“I talked with my coach, and he thought it was the right decision and the decision for me,” Fils-Aime said. “And then my parents also agreed with going to Tennessee. They loved it. They thought it was the right place to go, so I thought I might as well commit. (It was) just the feeling and everything. The coaches were awesome. When I went there, I had a great time with them. I didn’t know or think that I was going to like it as much as I did, but it turns out I did. After the visit, I knew that was where I wanted to go.”
With Fils-Aime now on board, the Vols now have 14 commitments in their 2016 recruiting class, which is rated as one of the top classes in the nation.
