Take a look at Tennessee's illustrious Super Bowl history

In Super Bowl 50, a Peyton Manning-led Denver Bronco's squad upstaged Cam Newton and Carolina Panthers by a score of 24-10.
Within the game, numerous Tennessee alums-- Manning, Malik Jackson, Britton Colquitt -- all made immense contributions in securing the victory for the Broncos.
When looking at the history of the spectacle, Tennessee players have proven to do quite well.

Former Tennessee players have made 96 appearances in Super Bowl games. It ranks the program seventh-overall (via CBS Sports) in this category. UT also leads in terms of producing Super Bowl players for all SEC teams -- with the next-closest being Georgia (87).
Not only does this statistic demonstrate the strong development skills hailing from Knoxville, but it also speaks to both the competitiveness and willingness to compete and thrive on the highest level.
As of today, 44 former Tennessee players have won a Super Bowl ring. Butch Jones and those currently involved in the program surely hope that this number will continue to steadily climb.
