Stanford assistants Taylor, Bloomgren nominated for coach of the year awards

Stanford assistant coaches Lance Taylor and Mike Bloomgren have been nominated for the Football Scoop coach of the year award.

Taylor, a second-year assistant coach, is one of four finalists for the best running backs coach. Bloomgren, Stanford's offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, is one of four finalists for the best offensive line coach in the country.

The winners will be announced throughout the month and will receive their awards at the AFCA convention in San Antonio in January.
