Sorry, SEC, but you don't get to claim Von Miller
Remember when Von Miller played in the Southeastern Conference? No? The SEC Network does -- even though it never happened.
The SEC Network sent out a tweet highlighting a great year for the conference, celebrating national champion Alabama, Heisman winner Derrick Henry of the Crimson Tide, NFL MVP Cam Newton of Auburn and Super Bowl MVP Miller of Texas A&M.
Heisman Winner ✔️

National Champions ✔️
NFL MVP ✔️
Super Bowl MVP ✔️
What a Year for #SEC?! #TBT pic.twitter.com/vwluq4F15b
Three out of four ain't bad.
Miller played for the Aggies from 2007 through 2010, when A&M was in the Big 12. Texas A&M joined the SEC in 2012, when Miller was entering his second year with the Denver Broncos.
And there went the Twitter auto-correct.
@SECNetwork That moment you realize Von Miller played in the Big 12

@SECNetwork Von Miller never played the SEC. Good lord. I guess Vinny Testaverde played in the ACC too.
