Richt on Isaiah McKenzie: 'Good chance he'll be playing' against Alabama
Despite Isaiah McKenzie's brush with the law this week, it appears the Bulldogs' dangerous return man will take the field this weekend against the Crimson Tide.
McKenzie was never charged after allegedly threatening a woman's life in an Athens restaurant Monday, however police did interview McKenzie at the scene of the alleged incident.
Georgia head coach Mark Richt was asked about the status of his sophomore receiver during the SEC's teleconference call Wednesday.
"Right this minute he's practicing with us," Richt said during Wednesday's SEC teleconference. "Yeah, I think there's a good chance he'll be playing."
McKenzie was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week the second week of the season after he scored his fourth career return touchdown.
