It's fitting that this was the last touchdown scored before Johnny Manziel returned to football.

Rice scored on a ping-ponging batted-ball catch Saturday seconds before halftime and the end of the Heisman Trophy winner's two-quarter suspension for nebulous violations of NCAA rules. Check it out:

The touchdown cut Texas A&M's lead to 28-21. The Aggies then fumbled away the ball on the ensuing possession with just four seconds left, but Rice missed a long field-goal try as the half ended.

Rice's reward for the plucky first half? Johnny Football. He was back on the field to start the third quarter, as expected.
