The Alabama Crimson Tide appear to be close to completing their 2017 non-conference schedule as The Fresno Bee is reporting Bama will play Fresno State in Tuscaloosa. The news comes shortly following an announced deal between Florida State and Alabama to open the season against one another in Atlanta.

Fresno State will reportedly make $1.4 million for the trip to Alabama.

Unless the two teams meet in an unlikely bowl matchup prior to the 2017 season, the scheduled game will be the first meeting of the teams in both school's histories.

Alabama's 2017 non-conference schedule now includes Fresno State, Florida State and Colorado State. Seeing a theme here? It's safe to assume the last team the Tide schedule will have State in their name.
