When Chris Ash took the job as the new head coach at Rutgers, he faced a decision that is not unusual. 

Should he jump full time into his new endeavor or continue as an assistant at Ohio State through the Buckeyes' bowl game against Notre Dame? 

Ash said Monday he only really saw one option.
