Nations' top TE decommits from FSU; UGA now in the mix?

BY foxsports • July 28, 2015

One of the elite prospects in the nation has backed out of his commitment to Florida State, as tight end Isaac Nauta sent out this message via his Twitter account Tuesday:

Could the decommitment be good news for the Georgia Bulldogs? The Buford, Ga., native, who plays his high school football at IMG Academy in Florida, was in attendance for Georgia's "Dawg Night" football camp recently, which leads many to assume Nauta may now be leaning toward the Bulldogs.

The five-star U.S. Army All-American Game participant has yet to rule out FSU as a destination and very well could end up a Seminole by signing day, but the decommitment will only continue the speculation of Nauta joining Georgia's impressive 2016 recruiting class.

The Bulldogs already have an elite quarterback and three receivers committed. Adding a tight end of Nauta's talent would certainly round out the current set of skill players headed to Athens.

Check out some of Nauta's highlights and see for yourself why many have him rated as the top tight end in the nation:
