Will Muschamp is getting the band back together.

The new South Carolina head coach has opted to hire Kurt Roper as his offensive coordinator. During Muschamp's last season as head coach of Florida, Roper assumed the same title.

Roper was currently working with the Cleveland Browns as a senior offensive assistant. Prior to his stint at Florida, his offenses at Duke under David Cutcliffe broke multiple school records. Although he didn't sustain much success under Muschamp in Gainesville, Roper has proven to dial up some effective plays.

Roper will be tasked with improving a South Carolina offense in desperate need of creativity. With stud receiver Pharoh Cooper headed off the NFL, Roper will be essentially starting from scratch. Fortunately for Muschamp and Roper, they have a talented soon-to-be sophomore signal-caller in Lorenzo Nunez waiting in the wings.
