Here’s how you can watch Friday night’s Michigan State vs Furman season opener in East Lansing online.

Spartan Stadium is going to be rocking Friday night. Any other week if the Furman Paladins were coming to town, the stands would be relatively empty, but since it’s the season opener, the crowd will be alive, hungry for some college football. Michigan State is more than ready to begin the season on a strong note.

Furman is returning some key starters from last year such as top receiver Andrej Suttles and leading rusher Antonio Wilcox, but the uncertainty at quarterback and lackluster defense might do the Paladins in.

Michigan State isn’t a team that you can get away with having a poor game against. Mark Dantonio has made living exploiting opponents’ weaknesses and drilling them for an entire game until they limp off the field with their tail between their legs.

The Tyler O’Connor era — although it will last a year, at most — will begin on Friday night as he is following up a heck of a career from Connor Cook. The fifth-year senior has waited his turn and he’s ready to show the country what he’s got to offer.

Michigan State is the heavy favorite, but will the Spartans be looking forward to week three against Notre Dame while taking the Paladins lightly? Let’s hope not.
