Michigan DT Pipkins injures neck

Michigan defensive tackle Ondre Pipkins has been hospitalized for precautionary reasons and evaluation after injuring his neck.

Wolverines coach Brady Hoke released a statement Friday morning saying Pipkins had movement in all of his extremities.

The 6-foot-3, 340-pound Pipkins is a highly touted freshman from Kansas City, Mo.
