Miami Hurricanes channeling 'The U' with amazing new uniforms
The Miami Hurricanes are about to be one of the best-looking teams in the country every weekend, regardless of how they play on the field.
That much became evident on Monday, when the team and adidas unveiled new, retro uniforms to usher in a new era of Hurricanes football under head coach Mark Richt. The uniforms, which are dubbed "Legends of the U," are modeled after the team's look in the 1980s when Richt quarterbacked the 'Canes.
Here's a look at the new unis:
As I was saying, those are crisp. Talk about a major upgrade to the program's fashion department.
The Hurricanes will debut the new look on Oct. 8 against Florida State. Starting with that game, the uniforms will become the team's primary home and away sets moving forward. If you root for teams based on uniforms, you may have just become a Miami fan.
From head to toe, the Legend of The U uniform looks just as good live and in person. #ItsAllAboutTheU pic.twitter.com/ZnPYxwVySA
