LSU lands elite in-state DB Fulton on National Signing Day
Although it's not a tangible entity, LSU has a virtual fence around the state of Louisiana. When it wants an in-state recruit, the said prospect generally more often than not winds up in Baton Rouge.

247Sports 5-star prospect Kristian Fulton -- a native of Metairie, La. -- committed to LSU on Wednesday over the likes of Florida and Arkansas.
#LSU lands another big-time DB, Kristian Fulton, as expected. He was incredible down at the Under Armour practices and game.

There's a lot to like about Fulton as a prospect. He's a long, athletic corner with terrific height for the position. He's got the frame and jumping ability to hang with taller pass-catchers, and also the quickness to stick against smaller, shiftier receivers.
With LSU's propensity for churning out defensive backs on the next level, it isn't a complete surprise Fulton opted to stay close to home.
