La.-Monroe fires coach Todd Berry amid disappointing season

Published Nov. 14, 2015 8:58 p.m. ET

Louisiana-Monroe has fired head coach Todd Berry.

His team was 1-9 this season and 0-6 in Sun Belt play.

The 55-year-old Berry was 28-43 in six seasons at ULM. The high-point was when Berry's team knocked off No. 8 Arkansas to open the 2012 season and then came within a combined eight points of beating Auburn and Baylor. ULM went 8-5 that season.
