Jim Harbaugh says snot so fast: 'I have never eaten a booger in my entire life'
The internet picked on Jim Harbaugh Saturday when TV cameras captured the Michigan coach performing what looked like a nose dive during the Wolverines' 51-14 win over the University of Central Florida in Ann Arbor.
College football fans claimed they saw Harbaugh surreptitiously digging for gold and then eating it during one point in the game.
During his radio show on Monday night, Harbaugh said it may have looked as though the Michigan coach was clearing out bats in the cave and ingesting them. But he insisted it's snot.
"I have never eaten a booger in my entire life," Harbaugh said with a laugh, via MLive.com. "That might have looked like what was happening. But I think if you rub your nose and then you bite your fingernail, that's not eating a booger now.
"There was no booger eating. Let me clear the air ... for clarity here, for the record, I have never eaten a booger in my entire life."
Ravens coach John Harbaugh also came to his brother's defense and stuck to his claim:
There you have it. Clear as a whistle.
