Prosecutors have charged former Oklahoma State running back Herschel Sims with two counts of second-degree forgery.

Sims was dismissed from the Cowboys football team last week for a violation of team rules. The Tulsa World reports (http://is.gd/g5kGL5 ) that prosecutors accuse Sims of forging a bank withdrawal slip with an account number belonging to one of his teammates.

He's accused of forging two withdrawal slips - one for $500 and one for $200.

Court records did not list an attorney for Sims. His high school coach in Abilene, Texas, tells the newspaper that Sims said he had an agreement with the teammate to borrow the money.
