Larry Fedora celebrated this weekend and with good reason. The coach of the Tar Heels football team learned that four-star, class of 2017 defensive end Jake Lawler will be headed to North Carolina.

Lawler told Fedora in person and posted his reaction to the news on Twitter.

Lawler is an athletic 6-3, 225-pound four-star DE from Charlotte, N.C., and is listed as the third-best prospect in the state by 247Sports.

According to 247Sports, Lawler had offers from Duke, Georgia, N.C. State, South Carolina and several other major programs.
