So much of college football is tradition. One of the great traditions at Florida State games is Chief Osceola making his way on to the field aboard the school's mascot, a beautiful horse.
At halftime of Saturday's game with Wake Forest, the Seminoles and their faithful paid tribute to the retiring Renegade V. The horse lost sight in his right eye this spring, causing the end of his career.
