Florida-Arkansas Game Time Announced
The No. 14 Florida Gators will head to Fayetteville in two weeks to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks on Nov. 5. It was just announced today that game will kickoff at 3:30 PM on CBS.
Obviously, everyone’s focus is on Georgia this week as the Gators are preparing for their annual rivalry clash with the Bulldogs up in Jacksonville.
However, that Arkansas game will be an important step in Florida’s journey to win the SEC East for the second year in a row.
Florida holds a 9-1 lead in the all-time series with Arkansas, though the teams have met just once in the last six seasons – most recently in 2013. In that game, the Gators won 30-10 in Gainesville.
Realistically, the Gators will need to win out the rest of their SEC games in order to make it to Atlanta because Tennessee has the tie-breaker over them.
A week ago, this Arkansas matchup was shaping up to be a tough one for the Gators, but the Razorbacks don’t scare anyone anymore after getting blown out by Auburn 56-3.
Arkansas has a bye this week and you can bet they’ll be fired up against the Gators to wash the bad taste out of their mouth after being embarrassed by the Tigers.
So this by no means is an “easy” win for Florida, but it’s a game that they need to win if they want to return to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game.
