The 2013 college football season was a wild one for USC and Ed Orgeron.

After getting blown out at Arizona State on Sept. 28, Lane Kiffin was fired overnight and Orgeron was named the interim head coach.

The Trojans then won seven of their next nine games, including knocking off No. 5 Stanford, and suddenly a loud segment of fans were calling for Orgeron to be named the full-time head coach.

Of course, USC hired Steve Sarkisian this offseason and Orgeron is spending the 2014 season away from football.

Orgeron recently joined The Audible with Bruce Feldman to discuss the turmoil of the 2013 season, why he still dearly loves USC and thinks it's "the best place in the world" to coach and play, Pete Carroll's legacy after winning a Super Bowl with the Seahawks, his future job prospects in college football and much more.
