Oklahoma State is a dark-horse, kinda-trendy pick to win the Big 12.

Yes, you have to stretch a bit to make the case that Mason Rudolph can play like he did when he led the Cowboys to three wins in his only three starts of his career.

Perhaps you think defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer is a life-saver on defense and TCU and Baylor are poised for a fall.

OSU does get Baylor and TCU and Kansas State and Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla., this season. That's a pretty favorable schedule even if you consider OSU has to go to Texas or West Virginia.

Oklahoma State starts its season with a road game at Central Michigan.
