Campbell rallies to beat Stetson 16-6

DELAND, Fla. (AP) Kameron Bryant threw a 72-yard TD pass to Damon Simmons and Campbell scored 13 unanswered points in the second half Saturday to beat Stetson 16-6.

Stetson led 6-3 at halftime on two Grant Amick field goals after holding Campbell to three-and-outs on its first two drives. Mitchell Brown capped the Camels' longest drive of the half, 49 yards in nine plays, with a 34-yard field goal.

The Camels (4-3, 2-2 Pioneer) rallied in the second half, with DeShawn Jones scoring on a 1-yard run after an 11-play, 73-yard drive. On the next possession, Bryant tossed the 72-yarder to Simmons, who held on despite pass interference.

Bryant was 14 of 24 for 193 yards and an interception. Jones gained 55 yards on 17 carries.

Ryan Tentler was 8 of 23 for 95 yards for the Hatters (1-5, 0-4), who have lost five straight.
