Cal Poly 23, North Dakota 19
Andre Broadous threw for two touchdowns and Cal Poly withstood a late rally to win 23-19 against North Dakota on Saturday.
Broadous threw TD passes to Jake Romanelli and Akaninyene Umoh, and James Langford kicked three field goals as the Mustangs (4-3, 2-0 Great West) built a 23-6 lead.
Zeb Miller kicked four field goals for the Fighting Sioux (4-3, 1-1), with the last cutting the margin to four points with 7:25 remaining. North Dakota drove to the Cal Poly 39-yard line in the final minute, but backup quarterback Brent Goska's fourth-down pass was intercepted by Kennith Jackson.
Romanelli rushed for 93 yards on 24 carries, ending a string of four straight games with at least 100 yards.
Goska was 13 of 24 for 206 yards. He had a 21-yard touchdown pass to Jake Miller.
