Brothers, Scherer Named to Butkus Award Watch List

On Tuesday, the Butkus Foundation named the 31st annual watch list for the Butkus Award, which is annually given to the nation's top linebacker. Two Missouri linebackers earned a spot on the list, Kentrell Brothers, and Michael Scherer. 

Brothers returns from a monster 2014 campaign, in which he led the SEC with 122 tackles, and also made second team all-SEC honors. Scherer was also effective last season, and the two will look to captain a Missouri defense that will be hard-hitting, and look to force turnovers.
