Bristol Motor Speedway gets time-lapse treatment as it preps for Va Tech-Tennessee

Twice a year, the Sprint Cup series comes to Bristol Motor Speedway to feature NASCAR's top drivers.

On Sept. 10, the vaunted half-mile track will feature a different kind of collision as Tennessee plays host to Virginia Tech in a college football game.

The process for turning a racetrack into a venue that will support football and a six-figure crowd was captured in a time-lapse video.
