Here are the official All for Tennessee Week 12 college football predictions for Southeastern Conference and Top 25 games.

We’ve got two weeks to go in the regular season. Two more rounds of college football predictions for us to do. And a ton of crazy games that could throw the NCAA standings for a loop.

Tennessee football fans everywhere are preparing for a huge weekend. They have two major games to watch that are equally important.

There is one game at 1 p.m. to determine whether or not they will actually have a chance to play for the SEC Championship. Then comes their game at 3:30 p.m.

On top of that, there are quite a few games with College Football Playoff implications and conference championship implications.

As we get set to bring you our next round of college football predictions, we have two non-conference Top 25 games to bring you along with nine SEC games.

Unfortunately, as exciting as things are getting, the SEC decided to make this week the week where lots of teams would play cupcake opponents.

Heck, there would be two more of those if it wasn’t for a rescheduling due to a hurricane a month ago.

Only four of the nine games are between two SEC teams, and only one features two Top 25 teams.

As a result, this could be a bit of a boring weekend in the conference after the first game. That’s not to say that there aren’t other exciting games across the country.

But they mostly aren’t in the SEC. Still, we have to bring you these games, and they do have major implications.

So here is a look at our Week 12 college football predictions for SEC and Top 25 games.

It’s the first of many boring games in our college football predictions this week.

Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs are riding a wave of momentum after a huge win over their rival, the Auburn Tigers last week. It was an ugly 13-7 affair, but they are now 6-4 and staring at the prospects of a very strong finish.

Playing an easy team like Louisiana Lafayette is a nice way to get there.

Right now, the Dawgs have got a lot of offensive issues to work on, though, if they are going to have the finish they desire. This is a late-season tune-up game in order to do just that. Jacob Eason can begin the process of a strong finish to set the stage for some big years ahead.

With Smart’s defense playing like a Nick Saban defense, it’s now up to the offense to come along and do what they were doing at the beginning of the year. That’s the only way to assure this will be an easy game.

What Will Happen?

This is the first round of boring games on Saturday. Early on, Georgia struggled against bad teams like Nicholls State. But they are a different team now.

And that’s going to show up on Saturday.

Nick Chubb will rush for 100 yards, and Eason will have a big passing day with two long touchdown passes. Georgia runs away with this win easily.

Because of the Auburn win, they are about to ride a wave of momentum that set off like nothing else did for them this year.

Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M need this game desperately. Once again, after losing to the Alabama Crimson Tide, their program began to collapse.

In the process, they have lost to both Mississippi schools. On top of that, they don’t have Trevor Knight, which has snapped Trayveon Williams back to reality.

And John Chavis’s defense is back to looking like old Aggies defenses.

With all of this, they desperately need this non-conference breather to get things right. But this may not be the game for that if they’re not healthy.

And it’s just a bit tricky for our college football predictions.

Sure, the offense can put up points, and it’s the perfect game for Jake Hubenak to gain confidence. But the Roadrunners have a dangerous offense as well for their level. And Texas A&M’s defense is reeling.

What Will Happen?

This game is going to be your typical blowout shootout. Both offenses will put up lots of points, but one will just put up a heck of a lot more.

That team will be the Texas A&M Aggies.

Hubenak will throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns in a breakout game, and Williams will get back on track with over 100 rushing yards.

The Roadrunners, however, will put up lots of yards too. They’ll crack 30 points. Texas A&M will just crack 50 points and win easily. As a result, that’ll get them back on track just in time for a huge game against the LSU Tigers.

This is the big one everybody is going to be watching Saturday afternoon. Who cares if it’s on the SEC Network? It has far and away the biggest implications.

The game was obviously rescheduled from Oct. 8 and moved from Gainesville to Baton Rouge. Still, when all that happened, even the schools couldn’t have predicted how big of a game this would be.

And we certainly didn’t think that when we initially planned to call this for our college football predictions.

Ed Orgeron and LSU are playing for a chance to reach a New Year’s Six bowl game. Meanwhile, Jim McElwain’s Gators are playing for a chance to clinch the SEC East.

As a result, this game has huge implications.

If Florida wins, they go to Atlanta. If they lose, Tennessee just has to beat Missouri and Vanderbilt to go.

With Austin Appleby still in at quarterback for the Gators, most analysts expect this to be a low-scoring affair. This could really be a blue-collar, old-school SEC football game.

However, you never know when these two teams meet.

What Will Happen?

This is going to come down to the running game and turnovers, pure and simple.

Ed Orgeron and LSU have the advantage on both accounts. Leonard Fournette and Derrius Guice will pick up just enough yards on the ground for the Tigers, and the defense will force three Florida turnovers.

Those things will be enough for LSU to win an ugly affair in front of their home crowd in Baton Rouge. The Tigers prevail, launching the Vols down the stretch.

Line: Colorado -4.5; Over/Under: 60.5

Who would have thought this this inter-divisional Pac-12 match-up would have College Football Playoff and conference championship implications at the beginning of the year?

We never even thought we would include this game in our college football predictions.

Mike Leach and Washington State lost to Eastern Washington to start the year, then they lost to Boise State. But ever since, his air raid offense has gone on a tear in the Pac-12 behind Luke Falk at quarterback, and the defense is actually playing decent.

Meanwhile, Colorado controls its own destiny to reach the Pac-12 Championship, and Mike MacIntyre’s team is right in the thick of the College Football Playoff talk now as well. Who in the heck ever saw that coming?

They run a totally different team, based on a dominant running game and a physical defense with Sefo Liufau getting healthy and Phillip Lindsay becoming a star.

What Will Happen?

This game could literally go in any direction. Colorado could win a tough, close, ugly affair. They could be locked in a shootout with Washington State with either team winning.

Or Washington State could simply blow them out.

Right now, though, the Buffaloes are getting fully healthy and riding a wave of momentum. As a result, we are going to go with their physical style of play and take it over Washington State’s air raid offense.

The Buffaloes move up in the College Football Playoff rankings with a huge, elating victory. Liufau will have 75 rushing yards and 175 passing yards, and Lindsay will add 200 rushing yards.

Western Carolina Catamounts at South Carolina Gamecocks

Saturday at 4 p.m.; Williams-Brice Stadium; Columbia, S.C.

We are back to our boring SEC games in our college football predictions. But there is actually something slightly exciting about this one.

Will Muschamp’s team seemed dead in the water a few weeks ago, but after a three-game winning streak highlighted by a huge win over the Vols, they have a chance to reach bowl eligibility this weekend.

That seemed extremely elusive a few weeks.

So even though it’s a dull game, it’s one South Carolina fans everywhere are excited about. This is a great chance to give Muschamp the start he needs to his head coaching career in Columbia. They couldn’t do it last week against Florida.

But this week, Jake Bentley has a chance to develop more, and the defense can try some new schemes. With bowl eligibility on the line, you can bet that this team is not going to overlook the Clemson Tigers.

What Will Happen?

Jake Bentley will have his best game yet, although it won’t mean much since it’s against Western Carolina.

Still, he’ll have a field day throwing for 300 yards and three touchdowns, and the South Carolina defense will force three turnovers. This will be an elating victory that gets the Gamecocks to six wins.

That was the goal the Gamecocks had for Muschamp in his first year before the season started. And you’ll see fans celebrating like crazy after a beating an FCS school as a result.

Austin Peay Governors at Kentucky Wildcats

Saturday at 4:30 p.m.; Commonwealth Stadium; Lexington, Ky.

You thought South Carolina fans would be excited about playing an FCS school this weekend to get to six wins?

Multiply that by 10, and that’s how Kentucky Wildcats fans are feeling. The Wildcats have not been to a bowl game since 2010, and Mark Stoops’s team has come up one game short of bowl eligibility each of the past two years.

But this year, they are 5-5 and got all of their necessary wins against the bottom of the SEC East along with a win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs. And now, as they host Austin Peay this weekend, they have their chance to get to six wins…which would save Stoops’s job.

Yes, that makes this absolutely dull SEC Network game something that could be exciting. And given Kentucky’s history of choking, this could be just a bit tricky for our college football predictions.

What Will Happen?

Stephen Johnson and Stanley Williams will continue to be an amazing backfield duo, and the Kentucky Wildcats will unleash years of frustration on one wonderful afternoon.

It may be against Austin Peay, but fans will be celebrating like they won the national championship as this team puts up huge offensive numbers en route to a blowout victory.

The defense will give up a few points simply because it does that, but overall, the Wildcats will dominate this game.

They will walk away with a huge victory while the fans attempt to rush the field for beating Austin Peay, something only Kentucky would do.

Line: Mississippi State -2; Over/Under: 60

Well, at least there’s one fun SEC West game to keep an eye on for our college football predictions this week.

Dan Mullen’s Mississippi State Bulldogs are much better than their 4-6 record indicates. Meanwhile, Bret Bielema’s Arkansas Razorbacks are a better team this year but have been playing a Jekyll and Hyde game all year.

As a result, Arkansas going to Starkville to face a Bulldogs team that needs this game more makes this a complete toss-up.

Will Nick Fitzgerald and the Mississippi State offense be the next rushing attack to torch the Arkansas Razorbacks? Will Arkansas torch the Bulldogs defense behind a massive offensive line, great running from Raleigh Williams III and Devwah Whaley, and precision passing from Austin Allen?

And finally, will either defense show up in this game? All of these questions are impossible to know.

What Will Happen?

This game is going to be a shootout…on the ground.

Arkansas can’t stop the run, and Nick Fitzgerald is going to gain a total of 400 yards with 200 yards passing and 200 yards rushing. He will carry the Bulldogs offense and look like Dak Prescott doing it.

However, Allen’s efficiency will come to light, as he will make just the right throws to keep the Bulldogs’ defense off-balance. Then Williams and Whaley will take advantage and run right through holes.

The Razorbacks barely survive a shootout in this SEC West affair, knocking the Bulldogs out of bowl contention.

Chattanooga Mocs at No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide

Saturday at 7 p.m.; Bryant-Denny Stadium; Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Wait, do we actually have to play this game? Do we actually have to write about it in our college football predictions?

This seems ridiculous.

There’s no storyline unless Alabama sets a record for points scored in a game. We’re serious. Like, this needs no explanation.

Nick Saban’s Tide are far and away the best team in the country, and they’re playing an FCS school that, while dangerous for its level, has no business sharing the field with the Tide.

And to top it all off, this game will actually be on ESPN2, national television.

Alabama has made things in college football boring when they’re playing top-tier schools. It’s even worse when they play teams like Chattanooga. This is just a bye for them. Do we really need to even analyze this game for you?

What Will Happen?

As offended as we are to cover this game, Alabama is offended to have to even play this game. As a result, the players will not come out with lots of motivation against Chattanooga.

They will play sloppy and ugly and hack Nick Saban off. It’ll also hack off the fans, who would at least like to see some offensive records set if they’re going to play such a team like Chattanooga.

That’s not going to happen. This is going to be a blowout in the most boring way, with Jalen Hurts looking wildly inconsistent but still coming through with three touchdowns and the rushing attack dominating.

Meanwhile, the defense will still shut down Chattanooga’s offense. So go to sleep for this game. It doesn’t matter.

Alabama A&M Bulldogs at No. 15 Auburn Tigers

Saturday at 7:30 p.m.; Jordan-Hare Stadium; Auburn, Ala.

If you thought Alabama-Chattanooga would be bad, Auburn-Alabama A&M will be even worse for our college football predictions.

After all, this game is just as much of a mismatch. But the Auburn Tigers are going in completely deflated after a 13-7 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs last week.

That loss knocked them out of contention to win the SEC East or reach the College Football Playoff. As a result, they will be heading into Saturday night’s game without a care in the world.

In fact, they’ll be looking ahead to the Alabama Crimson Tide since winning the Iron Bowl is now the only thing Gus Malzahn’s team can do to salvage the season.

But to do that, they need to take this game seriously. The Tigers have lots of offensive kinks to work out and experiment with after last week’s loss. This is the perfect get for them to do that.

However, the question is whether or not they will have the proper focus to do it.

What Will Happen?

Gus Malzahn and the Auburn Tigers will rebound in a boring way, but it’ll be a terribly slow start.

Because Auburn is still reeling after what happened last week, their offense will start off incredibly slow and look hideous in the first half.

But they’ll turn it up a notch midway through the second quarter and keep that going through the second half. Sean White will look more efficient, and Kerryon Johnson will have a few explosive plays.

In the process, Auburn cruises to an easy, ugly, boring victory.

Ole Miss Rebels at Vanderbilt Commodores

Saturday at 8 p.m.; Vanderbilt Stadium; Nashville, Tenn.

Line: Ole Miss -10; Over/Under: 50.5

Well we’re back to a fun SEC game for our college football predictions. However, this one would have been much more interesting a week ago.

After all, at that time, Derek Mason and the Vanderbilt Commodores were riding a wave of momentum while the Ole Miss Rebels were reeling. Vanderbilt expected to be 5-5 coming into this game with a chance at a bowl, and most people expected Ole Miss to fall to 4-6 without its quarterback.

But the reverse has happened. The Rebels found a new superstar in quarterback Shea Patterson, and he torched the Texas A&M Aggies for a huge upset win.

Meanwhile, Vanderbilt fell to 4-6 after losing to the Missouri Tigers, the team we considered to be the worst in the SEC.

So now, the Rebels and Hugh Freeze have a new offense under a freshman quarterback, and they are the better team with more momentum.

That favors them.

What Will Happen?

Ole Miss is going to ride its momentum to a big victory on Saturday in front of Vanderbilt’s home audience.

Mason’s 3-4 defense will give Patterson some trouble early and force him to make mistakes, but the Rebels’ defense will force five turnovers to help him out. Meanwhile, Patterson will make just enough big plays.

This is not going to be a close game. The Rebels reach bowl eligibility with a dominating victory and continue to ride the excitement behind their new quarterback.

No. 9 Oklahoma Sooners at No. 14 West Virginia Mountaineers

Saturday at 8 p.m.; Milan Puskar Stadium; Morgantown, W. Va.

Line: Oklahoma -3.5; Over/Under: 65.5

Now this is the game of the week, as it will likely determine who wins the Big 12 Championship. And there are huge College Football Playoff implications here.

These are the most fun games for our college football predictions.

Depending on how the chips fall, the 8-1 West Virginia Mountaineers and the 8-2 Oklahoma Sooners are both in contention for the playoff.

Dana Holgorsen’s Mountaineers have quietly run the table this year with their only hiccup being a 37-20 loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Skyler Howard has been a very efficient quarterback in Holgorsen’s offense, and injuries in the backfield throughout the year have allowed Rushel Shell, Kennedy McKoy, and Justin Crawford to all see action.

However, they could all be ready to go Saturday, making for a potential four-headed monster when you add Howard’s rushing.

Meanwhile, analysts wrote of Bob Stoops and the Oklahoma Sooners after they suffered early losses to the Houston Cougars and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

But they have rebounded, as Stoops teams always do, to go on a roll in the Big 12. The Sooners have not yet lots a Big 12 game, and Baker Mayfield has looked as dominant as ever running the offense.

Although Oklahoma is probably the better team, traveling to Morgantown at night makes this an extremely interesting game.

What Will Happen?

Oklahoma vs West Virginia is going to be a barn-burner from start to finish. Both teams like to run the air raid offense, and they will be putting up huge numbers left and right.

Baker Mayfield and the Sooners are the better team, so they will put up the better stats overall. However, West Virginia will be playing at home in front of that rabid Morgantown fan base knowing how much is on the line.

As a result, they will force Oklahoma to make just enough mistakes to turn this game into a toss-up, including four turnovers and numerous penalties.

With all of that happening, the Mountaineers will prevail in the game of the weekend. At the same time, the win will catapult them into playoff talk.

Missouri Tigers at No. 19 Tennessee Volunteers

Saturday at 3:30 p.m.; Neyland Stadium; Knoxville, Tenn.

Line: Tennessee -16; Over/Under: 67

It’s Senior Day in Knoxville, and Tennessee football fans get to recognize a small class of players who helped restore the program to relevance under Butch Jones.

However, the Vols enter this game with a lot of pressure and potentially lots to play for, while the Missouri Tigers are coming in with only pride to play for and no pressure. That can be a dangerous thing.

Drew Lock has been able to move the ball in Barry Odom’s system, the running game has been solid, and the defense can force mistakes. Those all make for bad match-ups for the Vols.

As a result, this could be a more difficult game to predict than you might think. Tennessee should focus on running the ball with John Kelly, Alvin Kamara, and Joshua Dobbs while limiting Dobbs’s passes. But you can’t trust Mike DeBord to always do that.

Therefore, this game is a very tricky one for our college football predictions. After all, the Tigers have won three of four against the Vols ever since they entered the SEC anyway.

So we can’t take this one lightly. Our call, though, is going to hinge on exterior factors.

How Tennessee and Missouri plays out will depend on what happens between Florida and LSU. If the Gators win, the Vols will fold and make this interesting. If the Tigers win, they’ll ride that momentum.

And you can best believe in this day in age that they’ll find out what happens very quickly.

What Will Happen

As we have already mentioned, we have the LSU Tigers beating the Florida Gators. The Vols will have that game in the back of their mind early on, and that will make for another slow start.

After all, how could they focus at that point knowing that Florida losing gives them a chance to win the East and that Florida winning eliminates them? Nobody could tune that out.

So they will start off slowly and struggle with the Tigers. Missouri will build a 14-point lead.

But when they find out Florida lost, the Vols will deliver an encore to what they’ve done all year and lead another comeback.

In the process, they’ll pull out a very ugly win to get to 8-3 since that’s what Missouri causes. But Tennessee fans won’t care/

After all, they’ll know that all they have to do is beat the Vanderbilt Commodores the next week to go to Atlanta, and they’ll appreciate this Senior Day win.
