Akron beats Eastern Michigan 47-21

YPSILIANTI, Mich. (AP) Thomas Woodson threw four first-half TD passes, Conor Hundley ran for two scores and Akron capitalized on turnovers to beat Eastern Michigan 47-21 on Saturday.
Woodson was 14 of 22 for 222 yards, with TD passes of 9 yards to Imani Davis, 22 and 39 yards to Jerome Lane and a 1-yarder to Josh McNeil.
Lane's first TD was set up by Austin Wolf's recovery of a fumble on a kickoff and McNeil's was set up by Zach Guiser's interception of a pass by Brogan Roback. Andrew Hauser blocked a punt for a safety.
The Zips (3-3, 1-1 Mid-American Conference) held the Eagles (1-5, 0-2) to 60 yards rushing in the first half and led 40-14 at halftime.
Hundley gained 119 yards on 17 carries, with scoring runs of 29 and 5 yards. Lane had four catches for 104 yards.
Roback threw three TD passes and was 23 of 34 for 204 yards.
