It wasn't long until change came to Texas. Frustrations have been building in Austin as the Longhorns have gone 22-16 in the last three seasons.
Now, after losing 40-21 to BYU on Saturday, the first shoe has dropped at Texas.
According to Orangebloods.com, Texas has fired defensive coordinator Manny Diaz.

In addition to the 550 rushing yards allowed, the 679 total yards accumulated by the Cougars is the most ever against Texas since head coach Mack Brown took over in 1998.
Greg Robinson will take over as defensive coordinator for the Longhorns. He ran Texas' defense in 2004 and was serving as a football analyst for the school.
With the first fire now complete, speculation will turn to Brown.
He has been on the hot seat dating back to last season, and some believe it's in Texas' best interest for Brown to move into retirement and the university to move onto its next head coach.
Can Brown survive the season in Austin?
Probably, but a loss next week to No. 25 Ole Miss would push this case closer to its inevitable ending.
