A spokesman says Ohio State wide receiver T.Y. Williams did not make the trip to the Gator Bowl with the rest of the team due to a violation of team rules.
Team spokesman Jerry Emig also said Monday that running back Rod Smith did not attend the game because he missed the plane.
The Buckeyes (6-6) faced Florida (6-6) in Monday's game in Jacksonville, Fla.
Both Williams and Smith are redshirt freshman.
Emig says no other details are immediately available.
