Younger jumper lifts Presbyterian past UNC Greensboro, 74-72 (Nov 28, 2017)

CLINTON, S.C. (AP) JC Younger hit a jumper with a second left in the game to cap a furious comeback and lift Presbyterian to a 74-72 win over UNC Greensboro Tuesday night.

Kyrin Galloway hit a 3-pointer with 1:19 left to give UNC Greensboro a five-point lead, 72-67. The Blue Hose responded with a layup by Davon Bell and Ethan Kay's trey with :41 left tied the game at 72-72.

Reggie Dillard led Presbyterian (3-5) with 22 points and found Younger with the pass to set up the game winner. Kay had 15 points off the bench and Armel TeTe and Bell added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

James Dickey paced the Spartans offense with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Francis Alonso added 16 and Demetrius Troy contributed 15.

UNC Greensboro led by two at intermission and opened the second half on a 7-2 run with Troy scoring on a layup and drilling a 3-pointer.
