Austin Morgan converted a three-point play with 12 seconds left as Yale rallied from a 10-point deficit in the final 2 minutes to beat Cornell 71-70 Friday night.

The Bulldogs (10-9, 3-2 Ivy League) trailed 65-55 with 1:58 left, and were still behind by seven with 1:10 remaining.

Porter Braswell hit a 3-pointer for 68-64. After Cornell's Chris Wroblewski and Morgan made two free throws apiece, the Big Red's Errick Peck missed two foul shots with 46 seconds to go.

Greg Mangano made a layup for 70-68, then stole a Drew Ferry pass to set up Morgan's driving layup and ensuing free throw.

Cornell had one last chance, but Reggie Willhite blocked Peck's driving layup with 4 seconds left.

Braswell led Yale with 18 points, Morgan had 17 and Mangano 14, with five blocked shots.

Drew Ferry scored 18 to lead the Big Red (4-15, 0-5), who have lost five straight.
