Djibril Thiam led four Wyoming players in double figures with 17 points Friday night in an 80-37 victory over Western State, Colo.
Francisco Cruz scored 16, including 4 of 5 on his 3-pointers, and Amath M'Baye had 15 and Desmar Jackson 13 for the Cowboys (5-6).
Brian Gibson pulled down nine rebounds before fouling out, and Cruz had seven assists.
Casey Jackson scored 12 points for the Division II Mountaineers (1-8), who shot just 20.8 percent (11 of 53). The Cowboys went 31-for-67 (46.3 percent).
Wyoming led 10-0 before Weylan Towns scored for Western State with 5:17 elapsed.
The lead first eclipsed 20 at 27-6 on Cruz's 3-pointer with 4:14 left in the first half, and it was 36-10 at the break.
The Cowboys outrebounded the Mountaineers 48-33 and forced 22 turnovers.
This was the second game on a five-game homestand for Wyoming, its longest of the season.
