Leonard Washington scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Wyoming to a 74-41 victory over Utah Valley on Wednesday night.

Francisco Cruz added 11 points for Wyoming (7-1), which won its fifth straight.

Alfonzo Hubbard had 10 points to lead Utah Valley (4-4).

Washington's layup and 3-pointer highlighted an 11-0 run that put the Cowboys up 24-10. By halftime, the margin was 42-17. The biggest lead, 67-30, came after a three-point play by Afam Muojeke with 7:04 remaining.

Utah Valley shot just 31 percent from the floor, the seventh of eight Wyoming opponents held under 40 percent.

Wyoming won the rebounding battle 46-26 and limited the Wolverines' Geddes Robinson, who came in averaging 11.7 rebounds per game, to three. Isiah Williams, who entered Wednesday averaging 17.4 points, scored only two for Utah Valley.
