Backup forward Dan Jennings walked away from the bench during No. 21 West Virginia's 56-46 victory over South Florida and coach Bob Huggins called his absence ''unexcused.''
Jennings suited up for Sunday's game but didn't play. He left the bench in the second half.
When asked about the little-used Jennings, Huggins said the player's exit was ''unexcused, inexcusable. Never to be seen again, I guess.''
The 6-foot-8 sophomore is averaging 2 points and 2.5 rebounds in 14 games this season, including four starts.

Jennings' absence would leave West Virginia with just nine scholarship players.
