Wright State puts away Youngstown State 70-61

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) JT Yoho scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half and Wright State put away Youngstown State 70-61 Thursday night.

The Raiders (10-7, 2-1 Horizon) dominated the second half, shooting a torrid 72.2 percent in the final 20 minutes for a 55.8 percentage for the game. Michael Karena scored 15 points, Chrishawn Hopkins added 13 and Reggie Arceneaux 10. Yoho was 7 of 11 from the floor and had nine rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Marcus Keene led Youngstown State (9-9, 0-3) with 17 points, Shaun Stewart chipped in 13 and Bobby Hain had eight with seven assists.

The Penguins led by as much as 12 in the first half, but Wright State opened the second half on a 26-9 run as Grant Benzinger hit a pair of 3-pointers to push into the lead. The Raiders kept throttling, extending their lead to 18 with 2:30 remaining.
