Troy Tabler scored 16 points and Wright State defeated Miami (Ohio) 66-51 on Saturday night for its fourth consecutive win.
The Raiders (7-5), who have allowed 51 points or less in their past three games, held the RedHawks to 34.8 percent shooting (8 for 23) in the first half on the way to a 33-23 lead. The Raiders led by as many as 19 points in the second half.
Tabler has reached double figures in 10 straight games. Vaughn Duggins added 15 points and Cooper Land had 10 for the Raiders.
Wright State shot 48.1 percent (26 for 54) for the game and outrebounded Miami (Ohio) 33-26. The Raiders converted 11 offensive rebounds into 16 points.
Julian Mavunga scored 17 points and Antonio Ballard had 13 for the RedHawks (5-6), who had two-game overall and series winning streaks snapped. The RedHawks are averaging only 62 points per game, but averaged 78 in the two wins.
