Wofford 88, Chattanooga 56
Jamar Diggs scored 24 points and two other players scored at least 22 as Wofford stunned Chattanooga 88-56 on Thursday night.
Cameron Rundles chipped in 23 points and Noah Dahlman had 22 for the Terriers, (9-9, 6-1 Southern Conference), who won their fourth straight game. The loss kept Chattanooga (11-9, 7-1) from starting conference play 8-0 for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
The Terriers, who entered the game as the top 3-point shooting team in the conference at 39.3 percent, made 57.1 percent (12 of 21) and shot 57.6 percent (34 of 59) from the field overall.
Chattanooga, meanwhile, made only 17 of 47 from the field (36.2 percent) and suffered its lowest point total of the season.
The Terriers opened the game with a 20-3 run and never looked back, building 42-point advantages twice in the second half.
Troy Cage led the Mocs with 19 points.
