Wofford 63, Jacksonville 57
Kevin Giltner scored 14 points and Karl Cochran added 13 as Wofford defeated Jacksonville 63-57 on Sunday for its fourth consecutive win.
The Terriers (7-4) never trailed after Cochran's 3-pointer gave them a 3-2 lead 2:14 into the game. They led by 12 at halftime, 30-18, as the Dolphins (2-8) shot just 26.7 percent (8 of 30) in the first half.
It was the second consecutive poor start for Jacksonville, which shot 24 percent (6 of 25) in the first half of its 59-45 loss to Winthrop on Thursday night. The Dolphins have lost six in a row.
Wofford led 46-35 with 8:29 to play but didn't make another field goal. The Terriers kept Jacksonville from getting any closer than four points, however, by making 17 free throws the rest of the way.
Delway Graham led Jacksonville with13 points and Glenn Powell had 12.
