Anthony Hill had game highs of 30 points and 12 rebounds to propel Wisconsin-Milwaukee to a 76-67 victory over Youngstown State in a Horizon League opener Thursday night.

Hill sank 14 of 20 shots. Kaylon Williams added 14 points and Tony Meier six assists for the Panthers (4-4), who snapped a two-game slide and won their third straight league opener.

Vytas Sulskis scored 18 points, including 11 of 15 free throws, to lead the Penguins (4-2). Devonte Maymon added 16 points and Damian Eargle 10.

The Panthers held big advantages in shooting and rebounding: 27 of 55 (49.1 percent) to 24 of 68 (35.5 percent) and a 45-35 edge on the boards.

UWM led by as many as 10 points in the first half and was up 43-39 at the break. Blake Allen's 3-pointer with 16:45 left gave the Penguins their only lead of the night at 47-46.
