Kentucky defeated Cincinnati 64-51 today to advance to the Sweet 16 in the Midwest Region. The Wildcats began to take control of the game late in the first half, following an absurd dunk from Willie Cauley-Stein.

Cauley-Stein pretty much destroyed Cincinnati’s Quadri Moore on that play. After the win, Cauley-Stein was understandably cocky about the slam, and said it might have been worse than the one he threw down on Florida’s Devin Robinson earlier this season.

“I don’t think they put the dude back in the game. It was nasty," Cauley-Stein said of the dunk via the Louisville Courier Journal's Kyle Tucker. “I guess that’s why Coach wants me to dunk everything. That might’ve been worse than dude in the Florida game.”

The moral of the story? When Willie Cauley-Stein is going up for a dunk, get out of the way.
