Weber State beats NAIA's Multnomah 114-47

OGDEN, Utah (AP) Joel Bolomboy scored 18 points- all in the first half - and had 14 rebounds, and Weber State beat NAIA-member Multnomah 114-47 Monday night for its second-largest margin of victory in school history.

Weber State's record for largest winning margin is 71 set against Saint Katherine in 2013.

Bolomboy had a perfect night shooting, going 8 for 8 from the field for the Wildcats, who were 19 of 36 from 3-point range to set a school single-game record for makes. Ten Wildcats hit a 3-pointer, led by Ryan Richardson's four.

Weber State (8-5) raced to a 20-6 lead with Bolomboy scoring nine. Later, Bolomboy hit a 3 to push the lead to 40-20 and the Wildcats led 54-24 at the half.

Thomas Simien led Multnomah with 13 points. Jason Wyncoop, Multnomah's tallest player at 6-foot-7, finished with nine points. Multnomah was outrebounded 43-35 and made just 3 of 21 from 3-point range.
