Kyle Bullinger tied his career high with 22 points as Weber State defeated Portland State 80-58 on Wednesday night.

Scott Bamforth added 19 points, making 3 of 5 from 3-point range, as Weber State (15-9, 9-4 Big Sky) won its sixth straight conference game.

Lindsey Hughey and Trevor Morris helped out the Wildcats with 12 points each.

Melvin Jones scored 13 points and Dane Johnson 11 for the Vikings (11-14, 4-9) in their fourth straight loss.

After seven ties and five lead changes in the first half, Weber State broke it open with an 18-3 run to take a 43-28 halftime advantage.

Bullinger and Hughey combined for 15 points in the run and Morris scored Weber State's first eight points of the second half to pull away.

The Wildcats shot 53.4 percent from the field, including 44.4 percent from 3-point range, and outrebounded the Vikings 42-28.
