WATCH: Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan announces his retirement
Following a win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Tuesday night, Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan announced his retirement, effective immediately
Assistant coach Greg Gard has been named the interim head coach of the Badgers.
Ryan has been the head coach at Wisconsin since 2001, leading the Badgers to 364 wins and back-to-back Final Fours in 2014 and 2015. Before that, he had a dominating career in the Division III ranks, capturing four national titles at Wisconsin–Platteville.

He was a finalist for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame last year, and will likely make the trip to Springfield, Massachusetts this summer.
Gard inherits a team that is 7-5 on the season.
