However, it comes in another losing effort, as Wake Forest rallied pick up a 77-71 win over LSU on Tuesday night in Baton Rouge.
Simmons finished with 21 points -- attempting only eight shots, but shot 16 free throws -- and 12 rebounds. It was his eight double-double of the season.
LSU falls to 7-5 on the season, while Wake Forest, a team that has surprised many in Danny Manning's second season, heads into ACC play at 9-3.
