Wagner beats St. Francis (NY) 73-61

Tyler Murray scored 19 points and Wagner rallied to beat St. Francis (N.Y.) 73-61 on Thursday night.

Wagner (15-3, 6-1 Northeast Conference) trailed 37-34 at halftime but outscored St. Francis 39-24 in the second half, when the Seahawks shot 52.4 percent from the field (11 of 21)

St. Francis (8-10, 5-2) shot 38.1 percent (8 of 21) from the field in the second half despite hitting 53.8 percent (14 of 26) in the first half.

Wagner led by as many as 18 points, 69-51, with two minutes remaining following a dunk by Jonathon Williams

Williams and Kenneth Ortiz scored 11 apiece for Wagner and Orlando Parker chipped in with 10.

St. Francis outrebounded Wagner 35-21 but committed 23 turnovers in the loss. The Seahawks scored 28 points off those errors.

Stefan Perunicic led St. Francis with 16 points.

Wagner beat St. Francis 90-53 on December 3.
