Wagner 63, Monmouth, N.J. 60

Tyler Murray made two free throws with 9 seconds left and Wagner held off Monmouth (N.J.) 63-60 on Saturday night.
The Seahawks (12-11, 8-4 Northeast Conference), who led by as many as 11 in the second half, held a 61-60 lead after Mike Myers Keitt made 1 of 2 free throws for the Hawks with 10 seconds to play.
After Murray made both of his foul shots for the final margin, Monmouth (6-18, 2-10) had a chance to tie it. But James Hett's 3-pointer missed with 4 seconds to go.
Latif Rivers led the Seahawks with 27 points, going 10 of 19 from the field, including 4 of 12 from 3-point range. Murray finished with 12 and teammate Josh Thompson added 11.
The Seahawks scored 24 points off 17 turnovers by the Hawks, who had just seven assists.
Marcus Ware paced Monmouth with 20 points and Myers Keitt finished with 13.
