Mike Douglas shot perfectly from the field and free-throw line to finish with a career-high 25 points and lead Western Michigan over Ball State 87-70 on Wednesday night.
The Broncos (18-11, 10-5 Mid-American) took control early in the first half and were up by as many as 21 points late in the game.
Douglas made all seven of his tries from the field, including three 3-pointers, and all eight from the line as the Broncos won their third in a row.
Flenard Whitfield added 14 points, Juwan Howard Jr. 13 and Nate Hutcheson 11 for Western Michigan.

Malik Perry led the Cardinals (17-12, 9-6) with 13 points while Jauwan Scaife scored 12 and Jarrod Jones 10.
